Despite using bottles, both produce Moonshine crocks and the “expanded” version doesn’t produce more Moonshine, it only allows the use of Wheat as an alternate ingredient to Rye.
Provided you have the skill, you can also build the basic moonshine op that uses neutral alcohol and crocks. This is useful if you have more crocks lying around than you have bottles, or find later in game that you need the bottles for other operations. You can always build a Backroom Distillery if you need more neutral alcohol.
