Let’s face it, the streets are dangerous. Sure, you’ve got a good set of knuckles on you, but they ain’t gonna go far when you meet a rival with a Tommy gun. Let’s get you something to wield and you can save your paws for the boxing ring.

You can’t sell weapons, but baseball bats and crowbars are used in some recurring missions, so keep a hold of those somewhere.

In general, you can’t buy weapons. You have to either kill a hooligan or rival, complete certain missions (including at train stations), get it from a front or a bribed cop. See below for details.

Most lower level weapons can be found if you raid a hooligan’s safe house. Killing a rival outfit member, at least later, will usually get you a Winchester and/or a Tommy gun.

To get a Thompson Machine Gun from a cop or a front, it will cost you 3 Favors. If you have less than 3, they won’t give you the option. The number available also seems to depend upon your crew size and how many Tommy guns you already have.
